Ash Gourd is also called white gourd, winter gourd, winter melon or white pumpkin. It can be used to prepare a variety of dishes ranging from sambar to mor kuzhambu to halwa. After a long gap I am posting a very popular traditional South Indian (Tamil Brahmin) recipe. It is very easy to prepare and goes well with vathal kuzhambu, milagu kuzhambu or even any thogayal.
